How to Balance Academic Study and Extracurricular Activities
With more and more extracurricular activities are pouring into the college, there is a widespread concern over the issue that how to balance academic study and extracurricular activities. The followings are my views on this issue.
First of all, as a college student, we should pay more attention to academic study, since learning professional knowledge will lay down a solid foundation for our future. Besides, college courses are relatively difficult, so we have to spend much more time studying. Secondly, it is also necessary for us to take some extracurricular activities after class or on weekend, which is beneficial for us. As shortsightedness and overweight are prevalent among college students, extracurricular activities can improve our health and keep us fit. In addition, it is a better way to combine academic study with extracurricular activities. There are many professional interest groups, in which you can apply your professional skills and knowledge in practice.
In a nutshell, academic study and curricular activities are equally important. In order to become an all-round graduate, we should not only get more academic achievements but also some special skills. Therefore, we had better make a proper arrangement between the academic study and curricular activities.
