Nowadays, American TV dramas are gaining an increasing popularity among the young Chinese. More and more people, especially the English learners, are keen on them.
Some people hold the opinion that watching American TV dramas can enhance their learning of English. While enjoying the fantastic stories, they can learn some English expressions and practice listening English. By contrast, some other people don’t think so. They consider that watching American TV dramas has nothing to do with learning, but is a waste of time.
As far as I am concerned, I prefer the former opinion. Instead of learning English in a dull way, I would rather master it through an easy way. In addition, by watching American TV dramas we can get access to not only different cultures but also native English expressions which are the key to having a good command of English.
