1.The diagrams below show UK students’ responses to the question of to what extent they would describe
themselves as financially organised.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
The two diagrams give data to the response of a survey re-garding the students’ self-assessment of being financially organised. The pie chart illustrates their ability to manage their finances and the table shows the proportion of students, by age, who think they are very good at this.
Overall, the findings suggest that students generally manage their finances well. More than half of the students described themselves as fairly organising in managing their finances. 21% UK students told that they are very organised while 20% confessed that they are not very organised in managing their own budgets. Only 4% of the total students in the survey told that they are not at all organised.
According to the table, students who think that they are very organised in dealing with their money are divided in three age groups. Less than one fifth of such students fall under 22 years while 23- to 25-year old students comprise 26%. Finally, students over 26 years old account for 35% which was the largest percentage among the given data. (179 words)

One of the most debatable issues of the last century has been whether international trade benefits or harms national economies. Despite its potential risk to domestic business, I believe it is unreasonable to restrict the international free trade.
Those who support the expansion of global free trade claim that economies grow faster when they can specialise in just a few industries in which they have a strong advantage. As a result, each region or country produces something of value to the world economy. For example, East Asia manufactures electronic goods, the Middle East exports energy, and the EU produces luxury items. Free trade proponents also hold that dependence on global trade helps to strengthen international cooperation and prevent wars.
Meanwhile, opponents of free trade — sometimes called ’pro-tectionists’ — argue that the unrestricted movement of goods and services causes damage to local communities. This is because jobs are lost when it becomes cheaper to import a product than to produce it domestically. They also think that the vast distances travelled of transporting food, oil, and consumer goods can harm the environment and make our lives unsustainable. Protectionists are in favour of tighter controls on the movement of goods and services in order to protect jobs and livelihoods. However, a re-turn to protectionist policies would surely be a mistake since it is no longer realistic for nation
