口译二级综合能力(听原文写综述)模拟试卷3

听力概述

1.Listen to the following passage. Write in English a short summary of 150-200 words of what you have heard on the ANSWER SHEET. You will hear the passage only once and then you will have 25 minutes to finish your summary. This part of the test carries 20 points. You may need to scribble a few notes to write your summary.

Unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, one of the technological marvels of our age, are increasingly being used to tackle real problems for us. But they are also prompting some serious legal, financial and practical questions. For instance, they have been flown dangerously close to commercial aircraft, putting the safety of air travel at stake. Besides, rogue drone operators are invading sensitive airspace and private property. All of these are the result of a regulatory vacuum. Although the FAA has banned most commercial drone flights, people who fly drones for fun aren’t regulated. They don’t have to obtain licenses, register their aircraft or undergo training. However, the recent spate of risky incidents have prompted the FAA to adopt more stringent enforcement measures. As more and more drones will roll out of the factories, companies need to take more responsibility for educating their customers by adding warning labels, devising software fixes to limit where drones can fly and taking other steps.
