This got us all up out of our seats and moving, and gave us a break from just sitting and listening or writing. This break was absolutely essential. When we returned to class, we could focus better on studying. Our brains would be recharged, and we could think and learn again. Our teachers would also appreciate the fact that we were able to focus on studying after we had had some exercise.
So I think physical exercise should be a required part of every school day.
